This mod can display and switch skins and capes normally in multiplayer for offline account players.
Based on the SkinRestorer mod, with reference to the CustomSkinLoader mod. Supports managing appearances via the /strayskins family command. If the launcher has a skin, it will automatically take effect when you enter the game.
Note: In multiplayer games, each client and server needs to install the mod to be fully functional. Skin size: 6464, Cloak size: 6432
Multiplayer support server and multiplayer room online, /strayskins mojang command server only.
Local files are supported, which need to be placed in the strayskins folder of the client instance or server directory.
There may be compatibility issues with placeholder mods

How to Install StraySkins on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "StraySkins". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

StraySkins server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if StraySkins consumes the most tick time.
