Description

Stylish Occult is a tech mod in disguise (kinda like Botania). From the outside it looks like an all-out magic mod, but under the hood the tools it provides are technical and require some thinking to apply correctly. The mod is focused on creation and usage of special runes that can be utilized to create highly advanced contraptions and automate certain tasks (like, for example, crafting) all of this in a occult themed package! It also adds a nether structure called Sanctum that you will need to "visit" at some point of your journey, and some other minor things.

How to Install Stylish Occult on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Stylish Occult". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Stylish Occult server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.18.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Stylish Occult compatible with fabric?

Stylish Occult officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.18.2, 1.17.1, 1.17. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Stylish Occult – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Stylish Occult consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
