About this Mod
Requires Common Network & Cloth Config API in mod and CommandAPI in plugin.
This mod consists of a system, through a command, that generates a subtitle with a transparent background for all players for a set time.
It's also configurable in the client to give your subtitles a more customizable look, allowing you to change paddings, text scale, border spacing, and background color.

| You can use ; for line separation and & for color-coding in the message.
NOTE: If you send a subtitle while another one is in progress, it will overlap, changing the message and time.

How to Install Subtitle Mod on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set bukkit Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the bukkit loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Subtitle Mod". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Subtitle Mod server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong bukkit version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Subtitle Mod compatible with bukkit and fabric and forge and neoforge and paper and purpur and spigot?
Subtitle Mod officially supports bukkit, fabric, forge, neoforge, paper, purpur, spigot for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Subtitle Mod – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Subtitle Mod consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
