About this Mod

Subtle Skybox improves on Minecraft's nighttime sky by changing star rendering and changing the background color of the sky.

The mod changes the minimum size of stars, as well as the size variation. Stars can become much smaller, and the smallest stars twinkle as they move across the sky. It also changes the nighttime sky color from black to a deep purple.

How to Install Subtle Skybox on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Subtle Skybox". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
