SuperHardcore
A mod that enhances the survival experience by limiting your health and adds many more challenges.
About this Mod
What does SuperHardcore do?
SuperHardcore changes vanilla Minecraft to feel like true modern hardcore survival should feel: hazardous and very tense
You start with only 4 hearts, visually see full hearts and mobs hit much harder. Players deal less damage. And some mobs got upgrades.
Important Information
This plugin is experimental and may be tweaked to balance the modifications to feel more "vanilla"

Changes this mod makes
- Players only have 8 max health (4 hearts)
- Players will see they have "full" health, but they truly have 8 health points
- Monsters deal 3x more damage to players
- Players deal only 45% of their normal damage
- Every creeper that spawns is charged
- Creepers move faster and almost no knockback (good luck punching them away)
- Spiders always get one random strong effect: Speed, Strength, Regeneration, or Invisibility (level 2, forever)
- Skeletons don't burn in daylight anymore
- Endermen don't take damage from water / rain
- Shields allow 25% of the blocked incoming damage to go through and damage you

SuperHardcore server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is SuperHardcore compatible with neoforge?
SuperHardcore officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with SuperHardcore – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SuperHardcore consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
