About this Mod

This mod adds a simple keybind that allows you to swap your hotbar for the row in your inventory above it. It specifically cycles each row of your inventory down one, with your hotbar moving to the top. Holding down 'alt' will cycle in the opposite way; each row shifting up, and the top row wrapping down to your hotbar.

For example, given this inventory:
Minecraft inventory filled with survival items. Tools and blocks in the hotbar/4th row, farming items in the 3rd row, fishing items in the 2nd row, and mob drops in the 1st row.
Now hitting the swapbar key, the inventory then holds:

If you then hit the swapbar key while holding down the Alt key, you can see that it swaps in the opposite direction:

How to Install Swapbar on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Swapbar". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Swapbar server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Swapbar compatible with fabric?
