About this Mod
Mod adds Infection of the Swarm
Meteorite drops on earth, carrying Swarmers
Swarmers are amalgamations made up with flesh of the aliens they had assimilated.
Swarmers attack any living creature, dissolving their flesh and turning it into biomass, they then merge with that biomass and become Amalgamated
Amalgamated can evolve and create more swarmers
the mod adds a point system that increases with actions of Swarm Infection
Higher the phase, higher the difficulty
Mod has multiple tiers of mobs
Swarmers: the start of the infection, they attach themselves to the mobs and merge with them
Amalgamated: the result of swarmer merging with their victim, can evolve into different variations
Grown: evolved variants of Amalgamated they get new abilities and strengths, can grow even bigger after killing enough mobs
Overgrown: even stronger variants of Grown, they mostly have the same abilities, but they are better or some of the overgrown could have new attributes
Nodes: mass of biomass that spread around the ground
they can grant the Infection poition effects to make them stronger
Leviathans: created from nodes, they are large constructs of biomass that destroys everything on their path
they act as main bosses of the infection
Point system
When the infected kill something, evolve, or create more of themselves they gain points
with certain threshold it will increase the phase

How to Install Swarm Infection on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Swarm Infection". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Swarm Infection server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
