About this Mod
Aren't stairs and ladders just so boring? Say hello to Swift Shafts!
What does this mod add?
This mod adds one extremely useful block - the Transporter Shaft! With this block, you can create elevator shafts in your builds that allow you to teleport from floor to floor without the use of ladders or stairs!
How do I make a Transporter Shaft?
Here is the recipe - easy and great for pregame and endgame bases!
How do I use the Transporter Shafts?
To use the transporter shafts, just put one above the other (at least 3 blocks away on the Y-axis)
Once they are in place, stand on one of the Transporter Shafts, and you should see particles emit from it!
Light blue up arrow particles mean that you can travel up, and dark blue down arrow particles mean that you can travel down
Then just look up and crouch to go up, or look down and crouch to go down!
If there is a block covering one of the Transporter Shafts, it will be skipped in the column!
Commands
The default range for the Transporter Shaft is 20 blocks up and down, but you can change that with this command:
/ss shaftDetectionRange set [number]
You can also see the current setting by using:
/ss shaftDetectionRange get
Goodbye forever, stairs and ladders!
