About this Mod
This mod is a fork of the original TelePastries by Mrbysco and ShyNieke. All credit goes to them for the original mod. Do not install this mod alongside the original.
This mod is intended for modpack developers, and as such, has very basic crafting recipes. I recommend using either KubeJS or CraftTweaker to make your own recipes to fit your pack.
Telepastries. Fluffy baked goods that have the power to transport people across dimensions upon consumption. Legend has it they were baked for people stuck in the sky to still be able to visit other dimensions without having access to normal portals (especially the end portal).
This mod adds 6 cakes, one for each of the 3 vanilla dimensions, plus an additional 3 for certain other mods:
- The Lost Cities
- The Twilight Forest
- The Aether (Newest addition!)
Additionally, this mod has 3 'custom cakes', for use in creating cakes to dimensions that are not natively supported. You can customise the custom cakes in the mod's telepastries-common.toml file inside your config folder.

How to Install TelePastries Extended on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.6).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "TelePastries Extended". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

TelePastries Extended server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is TelePastries Extended compatible with forge?
TelePastries Extended officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.6, 1.20.5, 1.20.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with TelePastries Extended – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if TelePastries Extended consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
