About this Mod
Welcome to the Banished Lands, an dimension that was onced used to banish criminals, but has since been forgotten.
This mod was mainly created for decoration, with a variety of new blocks to be found throughout the dimension, including:
- Two new wood types: the gold-colored Hopewood, and the ash-colored Cinder.
- Lullite: an indigo Amethyst-like crystal.
- Tearstone/Dense Tearstone: a blue Stone/Deepslate equivalent.
- Luminous Loam: a grey, glowing Dirt that can become two grass-like blocks, either the gold-colored Raysia or the purple Serenochloa, or can be made into mud-bricks.
- Marble: a smooth white mineral that can be turned into a varienty of designs, including a spiral, pillar, and gilded version.
- Moonweave: a purple-ish cotton that can be formed into a block and carpet, and can be grown as a crop at home.
- Selfish Sand: a blood-orange sand varient.
- Obsidian Bricks: Obsidian but now in a brick pattern created from Obsidian Shards
- Dreadshale: a very dark-grey mineral.
There is also a variety of new resources and equipment that can be found/created. Some are created with the new Alchemy Table.
- Obsidian tools and armor: created from Obsidian Shards and are very durable but slow.
- Antimony, Bismuth, Lead, Sulfur, and Shatter: all new ores that are used as ingredients in the Alchemy Table.
- Alchemical Gold: created through the Alchemy Table and can be used to upgrade gold equipment, making them more durable.
- Basic, Fire, and Poison Bombs: created through the Alchemy Table and can be thrown to explode, ignite, or poison creatures in a radius.
- Paint: created through the Alchemy Table and acts as a dye with 100 uses.
- Flintlock: a simple single shot pistol.
- Three new Armor Trims: Banished, Imprisoned, and Elite.
- Special Equipment: strong and unique tools that cannot be crafted and must be found, those being the Dragon's Sorrow, Branded Blade, Edge of Despair, and Shield of Serenity. Each of these can be repaired with the Octalite ore.

How to Install The Banished Lands on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "The Banished Lands". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
