About this Mod
The Twilight Realm
This datapack changes the world's general ambiance (or only a part of it, you decide!), with feature from the twilight from Zelda Twilight Princess:
- Darker, more yellow sky
- Particles from Zelda: Twilight Princess recreated
- Yellow lighting
- The time passes, but it always look the same: same light level, hostile mobs always spawning, never burning...
You can manually set a biome to the twilight realm with /fillbiome, but the whole world is affected by it by default
It also adds shadow beasts, which spawn through twilight portals, spawning at a random player

How to Install The Twilight Realm on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "The Twilight Realm". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

The Twilight Realm server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

The Twilight Realm officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if The Twilight Realm consumes the most tick time.
