About this Mod

Third Person Death modifies the players death camera to switch to the third person back perspective and slowly start zooming out until you respawn. This closely mimics Minecraft: Bedrock Edition behavior, just with your usual java edition button layout.
The mod works completely client sided and requires no additional setup. Its lightweight nature allows it to be compatible through multiple updates. This mod has 0 effect on game performance.
Usage
There's downloads for Fabric and NeoForge. Make sure you're downloading the correct version for your modloader. Fabric supports 1.20.1+, and NeoForge supports 1.21.2+
Place it in your mods folder and it'll run without any extra setup. The mod will work on any server.

How to Install Third Person Death on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Third Person Death". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Third Person Death server crashes on startup – what to do?
