Ticksleep
Beds now speed up time instead of completely skipping it.
About this Mod
Beds have been a longstanding issue in Minecraft, they give players an immediate way to skip the dangers of the night by simply repeating the same repetitive process of right-clicking every few minutes.
This mod changes beds so that they speed up time rather than skipping time. This means the game will continue to run while you sleep, your wheat will grow, your furnace will cook, your AFK farms (which you no longer need to AFK at) will run. Speeding up time gives beds countless new uses to beds.
What this mod also does by speeding up time, is still allowing nighttime monsters to spawn. No longer can you skip the early game by simply placing down a bed in the open, as you might now be woken up by a zombie or creeper, putting some of the fear back into the early game and a genuine purpose behind building a survival shelter.

Ticksleep server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Ticksleep compatible with fabric?
Ticksleep officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Ticksleep – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Ticksleep consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
