Tidy Binds is a highly configurable utility primarily designed for modpack developers. It allows you to easily clean up the mess and clutter in the controls menu, as well as better integrate keybinds from mods into the game.

- key overrides: Redefine default keybinds so that pressing Reset restores your preferred defaults.
- key combinations: Trigger multiple actions with a single key by linking them together.
- category management: Move any keybind into a different category, including custom ones you define yourself.
- category ordering: Control exactly where each category appears in the list by assigning custom sort indices.
- key hiding: Hide unwanted keybinds to reduce clutter.
- key unbinding: Unbind hidden keys to prevent them from conflicting with existing ones.
- entry spacing: Add pixel padding between list entries for a cleaner look.
- conflict suppression: Disable the red highlighting on actions that share the same key.
- debug tools: Print all available key and category names to the log, or reveal hidden keys in a special category for troubleshooting.

How to Install Tidy Binds on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Tidy Binds". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Tidy Binds server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Tidy Binds compatible with neoforge?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Tidy Binds consumes the most tick time.
