Timer HUD
Play time in bottom-right corner, inspired by Grian/Scar/Joel's Hardcore Series
About this Mod
Very simple mod* that puts a red timer in the bottom right corner of the screen that shows how long you have been playing on a certain world/server. Inspired by Grian/Scar/Joel's Hardcore Series. No mods required on the server side.
This mod is a updated version of Playtimer for 1.20.1, there are still issues with it, such as you need to sync the timer everytime you join back into the world after closing Minecraft... If anyone wants to contribute feel free :D
This mod is built for Fabric (Fabric API is required). No Forge version is planned.
*No configuration required, just drop the jar file in the mods/ folder and start playing Minecraft with a timer!
How does this mod work?
This mod keeps track of how long you have been playing on a certain world (or server). The timer is managed locally, so it works even for servers that don't properly track your statistics. Only the first time when you join a world with this mod enabled, will the server statistics be queried to initialise the timer.

Timer HUD server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Timer HUD compatible with fabric?
Timer HUD officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Timer HUD – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Timer HUD consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
