About this Mod

Inspired by Alex's Mobs, Naturalist, and Mo' Creatures
New animals will be added one update at a time! So I can focused on finishing each new mob!
Mod Compatibility:
- Friends and Foes (Toasty's Mobs 2.3.3 and forward)
- Supplementaries (Toasty's Mobs 2.3.5 and forward)
Currently added mobs!
-Bears:
Found in the forest. Can be bred using sweet berries or fish. Bears will attack fish in sight! So keep them away from your ponds!
-Ducks:
Found near lakes and rivers. Can be bred using, well bread! Ducks can be brushed for feathers.
-Crabs:
Found on beaches near the Ocean. Can be bred using kelp. Rock Crabs will attack when aggrivated. They can be found in red or blue variants.
-Sea Hare:
Found in the Ocean. When killed will drop Hareballs that can be used to craft slime. (Based off of Aplysioviolin but given a simplified name.)
-Okapi:
Found in the Savanna. Bred using ferns and other grass. Okapis drop their fur which can be crafted into leather.
-Dodo:
An ancient bird thats egg can be found deep underground fossilized in stone.
-Butterflies:
Found in forests. Giving a butterfly nectar has a chance to make it lay eggs if another butterfly is nearby.
-Caterpillar:
Hatches from Caterpillar egg. Named caterpillars will drop their name tag when they transform into a butterfly.
-Pigeon:
Found in Forests. Bred using Bird Seed. Has multiple variants.
-Snails:
Garden snails will drop slime balls when killed. When on low health they will retreat into their shell and gain resistance. Bred with brown mushrooms.
-Endling:
A baby version of an Enderman! They have undeveloped eyes so they will not be aggrivated when looked at. They only attack when provoked. Endlings drop endling pearls which can be used to craft ender pearls or eye of enders.
-Pixie:
Glowing flying creatures that illuminate the night. Similar to the allay the pixie loves cookies. Feed a pixie a cookie to get a gift!
-Fruit Bat:
Friendly bat found in Taiga biomes! Can be given oak leaves to rustle through to scavenge apples for you! (More features and crops coming soon!)

How to Install Toasty's Mobs on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Toasty's Mobs". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Toasty's Mobs server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Toasty's Mobs compatible with neoforge?
Toasty's Mobs officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Toasty's Mobs – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Toasty's Mobs consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
