Tomodachi Hybrids

About the mod

Tomodachi Hybrids is a simple mod that adds hybrids, based on married couple from my Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream save file. It also adds a few stuffs related to said hybrids.

❤️ The loveshroom ❤️

The Loveshroom is a new type of mushroom. You can't miss it, as it's pink with white hearts. It also has a huge variant, but can't grow into it. Both have the same spawn rates as other overworld mushrooms.

The small Loveshroom can:

• Heal you for a few ticks when walked on
• Emmits hearts at the same time

Meanwhile, there are no features for the big mushroom. It's big, pink, heart-shaped and looks nice.

I need to figure out how to code:

1. Make so, when you left-click on different mobs (already breedable) with the small loveshroom in hand, they'll breed.

🐔🐝 The Beecken 🐔🐝

The Beecken is the first (and so far only) mob available in this mod.

• Like a chicken, it lays eggs every few minutes or so.
• There's also a chance it places a small flower wherever it stands. (It only works with vanilla plants)
• It can drop: raw chicken (or cooked if burned), a feather or honeycomb.
• A peaceful mob that will flee if attacked.
• Doesn't take fall or cactus damage.

Cut content:

1. The hive: Just like the bee, it was supposed to have its own hive, plus pollinate and make honey. It was cut because it was too frustrating to code.
2. Walking & flying: Yep, it was supposed to be able to walk AND fly, it even had animations for taking off, flying and landing. All of it was cut because I couldn't figure out how to make it happen.

Future additions

Well, since I'm a solo dev, don't expect updates to come out fast! But here are the plans:

• More hybrid mobs:

• Geep (Goat & sheep), can be sheared for its wool (although only has 3 colors: white, gray and black)

• Hopspawn (Rabbit & frog), eats small slimes and is frustrating to catch (has the same color variants as the frog)

• Moosniff (Cow & sniffer), sniffs the ground for ancient seeds and can be milked, rarely drops seeds for a special plant

• Nautrider (Nautilus & strider), can be ridden across the lava but tends to avoid players

• Turtda (Turtle & panda), a quite lazy hybrids that walks slowly, swims even slower and feeds on bamboo or seaweed

• New items & plants:

• The unnamed purple flower, which's seeds are dropped from the Moosniff and can be planted in any type of dirt or grass, then converted into purple dye or used for decor
