About this Mod
Transferable Pets
The Transferable Pets mod is a Minecraft mod that allows you to transfer ownership of your pets to other players in a vanilla style. With this mod, you simply attach a leash to your pet and perform a shift + right click action on another player to transfer the ownership of your pet to them.
Usage
To transfer ownership of your pet to another player, follow these instructions:
- Attach your pet to a leash
- Shift + Right click the player you want to give the pet to
- All done!

How to Install Transferable Pets on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set bukkit Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the bukkit loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Transferable Pets". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Transferable Pets server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong bukkit version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Transferable Pets consumes the most tick time.
