About this Mod
A simple worldgen mod that adds randomly generated paths to your minecraft world as features!
The goal of this mod is to make your minecraft world feel more lived-in by adding sparse non-instrusive paths that often lead to structures (Even underground ones).
The mod is fully customizable via datapacks.
There are 4 path sizes -
| Name | Path Width | Node Distance |
|---|---|---|
| Mini | 1 | 2 |
| Small | 2 | 6 |
| Medium | 3 | 9 |
| Large | 4 | 12 |
The Node Distance represent the length of each placed path section for the given size.
Each path starts from a crossroad with 1-2 connections that extend 7-13x the Node Distance of a path. Each crossroad will automatically search for nearby structures and generate a path to the structure.
There are several already defined path styles, but you can add your own path styles to the mod via datapacks.
Each path style can be constrained to specific biomes using biome tags.
Each path also only extends to structures up to a predefined offset (which can be added/adjusted via datapacks) the default offset is 10 blocks away from the center of a structure.
See the github wiki here for examples and tutorials on datapack extension.
