About this Mod

In Vanilla Minecraft, sign blocks and open fence gates have the useful properties of being "solid" blocks, while having no hitbox, which makes them invaluable in certain builds for purposes like interacting with falling blocks or fluids. However, both of these blocks have downsides that make them annoying to use - signs require support, fence gates react to redstone and clicking, and both of them are tedious to place in large quantities, for different reasons. This mod adds a single block, the Wood Truss, that has the same useful properties - it is solid but has no hitbox - without the downsides of signs or fence gates that come up when using them for this purpose.

How to Install Truss on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Truss". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Truss server crashes on startup – what to do?
