Tunnel TNT — Version 3.2.1
Ever wanted, to just dig a Really long Tunnel?
Tunnel TNT is an advanced utility TNT block for NeoForge, designed to generate clean, structured tunnels automatically while in Creative and remaining fully usable within Survival gameplay. Create tunnels of any size and length with a lining of your choice, add lights and/or support pillars. You can also have an outer lining and cap the ends of the tunnel, effectively allowing you to make rooms and more. You can change the thickness of the lining, and now in 3.2.1 and you can mine blocks, either leaving the blocks in the tunnel or dropping them as items, and you can save upto 4 different tunnel profiles.
Version 3.2.1 delivers major stability improvements, refined mechanics, and expanded configuration control, making this the most complete and reliable release to date.

💣 Core Functionality
Tunnel TNT was something that I originally wanted as just a tool in creative mode, which you can still use it as, but I decided to add more features and make it craftable in survival might add some more features and crafting mechanics later. Tunnel TNT creates a pre-shaped, consistent tunnel when detonated, enabling fast excavation while maintaining controlled structure and predictable results.
Key behaviour includes:
Bind a Hotkey of your choice to access the Tunnel TNT Config menu
Automatic tunnel carving with clean geometry
Optional block lining, lighting, and structural detailing
Configurable and reliable generation behaviour
Practical use for mining routes, transport corridors, and large-scale builds
Can Dig Vertical
can change the shape of the tunnel Rectangle, Rigid Rectangle, Round and Triangle.
🛠️ Quick Start
- 1.Install NeoForge for the supported Minecraft version.
- 2.Place the Tunnel TNT .jar into your mods folder.
- 3.Craft the block using the provided Survival recipe./Find block in inventory "Tunnel TNT" in Creative.
- 4.Place and activate Tunnel TNT to generate a structured tunnel instantly.
- 5.Adjust behaviour using the configuration menu or saved profiles.
⚙️ setup and Control
In Creative Mode:
To use the Tunnel TNT Block open your inventory an type "tunnel tnt" , you will also need the flint & Steel.
you dont need to prime the Tunnel TNT Block with a redstone torch in creative mode you just right click with flint & Steel to active it once you made your settings.
To access the Tunnel TNT Config Menu use your set keybind key or right click the blocks front face and go to tunnel setting by clicking the tunnel settings button, or the mod menu settings in the minecraft game menu. Tip: Remember the size of the tunnel is odd, so if you want the tunnel to line up with the ground, then for example if it was set to 29 high its always -1 (because of the tnt block) divided by two, so 29 -1 = 28 / 2 =14 + 1 = 15, so you would place the Tunnel TNT block at 15 high.
In Survival Mode:
In survival mode you need to prime the Tunnel TNT Block with aRedstone Torch, Right click the front face of the block with your hand or and block/item other than the flint & Steel, Once in the block UI insert a Redstone torch into the primer slot and click on tunnel settings button or your chosen hot key and set the tunnel how you would like then come out of ui and config and right click the front face with a Flint and Steel when you what to activate.you cannot activate without the Redstone torch inserted into the block in Survival.
