Undefile

Undefile is a mod that adds a way to clean up the mess created by doctor4t's Defile mod. Craft a Sun Staff and start clearing away the gunk with the ~~power~~ magic of the sun.

How to Clear the Ink

Craft a Sun Staff from 2 blaze rods, 2 diamonds, and a sun effigy (added by Defile).

The staff has two states. In its default state, use it to throw orbs of sunlight at ink to clear small areas away at a time. This can be done at a rapid pace.

Use the staff while sneaking to switch its state. In its alternate state, the staff must be charged in order to fire. When released, the staff throws an orb of sunlight that clears a large area of ink.

How to Install Undefile on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Undefile". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Undefile server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
