Unique Traits
Overview

Unique Traits adds randomized combat modifiers to crafted weapons.

Every time you craft a weapon, it can receive a randomly rolled Trait with a rarity tier. These traits grant special combat abilities such as lifesteal, lightning strikes, explosive bursts, and more.

Traits are stored directly in the item’s NBT data and displayed in the tooltip.

⚔️ Supported Items

Traits can appear on:

Swords

Axes

Bows

Crossbows

Tridents

Rarity System

Each crafted weapon rolls a rarity:

Common – 50%

Rare – 30%

Epic – 15%

Legendary – 5%

Higher rarity = stronger or flashier effects.

Trait List
Vampiric (Rare)

Heals you for 20% of the damage dealt.

No cooldown

Scales with damage

Excellent for PvE sustain

Frostbite (Epic)

Applies Slowness to targets.

2 seconds of Slowness

15% chance for stronger slow

Great for control in PvP

Flame Burst (Rare)

25% chance to trigger a small explosion on hit.

Does not break blocks

Adds AoE combat pressure

Shadow Edge (Epic)

Backstabs deal double damage.

Activates when attacking from behind

Ideal for assassin-style combat

Stormcaller (Legendary)

10% chance to strike the target with lightning.

8-second cooldown

Server-side lightning bolt

Visually impressive and powerful

Knockwave (Common)

Every 4th hit knocks enemies back strongly.

Tracks hit combo

Good for crowd control

Technical Details

Traits are applied when crafting weapons.

Traits are displayed in the item tooltip.

Effects trigger on combat events.

Configurable values (chance, cooldown, heal percent, etc.) via config file.
