About this Mod

UnOrigin is a Palladium addon that attempts to adapt as lore-accurately to the Webtoon it's based off of, "UnOrdinary", as possible using the UnOrdinary Wiki as a guide & explanation behind each power.
Currently, as of initial release, UnOrigin contains more functional features rather than content-wise features. In other words, initial release will serve more as a foundation rather than a standalone, for now.
That being said, UnOrigin currently contains 12 powers:
Aura Manipulation
Barrier
Dizzy Punch
Energy Discharge
Explosion
Healing
Hydrofreeze
Phase Shift
Regeneration
Stone Skin
Strong Kick
Strong Punch
Please note that a handful of the powers above will receive a revamp when the time comes, I'm currently a solo-dev, so all customized content within the mod originates from me, including but not limited to: Models, Icons, GUIs/HUDs, Code, etc. With that in mind, please understand if some things seem to be low-quality, I can only do so much, but you can be assured that anything of poor quality will not remain so in the coming updates.
As for other content currently in the mod, there is:
Barrier-block reflection damage. Unique to Barrier users. Should the barrier user activate their shield & another player (or entity) attacks the shield, it should deal recoil damage towards the attacker.
Custom HUDs/GUIs:
Aura Bar (top left corner)
Custom Ability Menu (overlay's Palladium's default ability menu)
The Aura bar, as you might've guessed, serves as your UnOrdinary-equivalent of an Energy bar, or maybe Mana bar, whichever suits your taste. The value of your Aura goes up as you progress your Power level, another concept we'll cover in a moment.

Custom Ability Menu holds several aspects of the game. Which includes: PowerName, PowerLevel, Description of Power, Stat Pentagon (currently not developed), Mastery bar, Stat-by-stat viewer (currently not developed). The non-developed aspects of the GUI will become functional as we start moving towards update 2.0, depending on how initial release turns out.

Fate (RNG). The (canon) mechanic where your power is essentially determined by fate (RNG) when you join the game, as well as your starting PowerLevel (max-borne is 5.0). You are, for now, guaranteed an UnOrigin power no matter what when you join. Some aspects are expected to undergo change in the future.

PowerLevels. So far, they only scale your minecraft base stats, such as speed, jump boost, defense, health, damage, etc. Each power has their respective field of stat scaling. Barrier will obviously have a higher scale of defense points compared to Regeneration, in contrast Regeneration will have more HP scaling compared to Barrier. Leveling/gaining Mastery (the giant yellow bar in your ability menu) will increase your PL by +0.1 everytime the bar is completed, maxing out at 10.0. Some powers may serve as an exception to the minecraft-base stat scaling, an example being Explosion, where it's damage output is also scaled. This occured because of my testing, sorry for the imbalance :) .
Mob Powers. Grants mobs copy-able powers. This was really only added to assist single-player Aura Manipulation players and so far has no other function. Any humanoid-like entity can carry a power tag, such as: Villagers, Zombies (all variations), Skeletons (all variations), Piglins (all variations), Pillagers (all variations), Witches, and Endermen.
Aura Manipulation. This power is drained by the triangular method; 1 power copied is 3 drain/s, 2 powers copied is 6 drain/s, 3 is 10 drain/s, 4 is 15 drain/s, so on and so forth. There is no set cap on how many powers can be copied, that just depends on the Aura value of what the AM player can handle. It also allows the player to copy powers within a 20 block radius. Holding the copy wheel will show the available powers in the area, including Mob Powers.

Some videos demonstrating both Aura Manipulation (and by extension, a couple other features), as well as the Explosion power:

UnOrigin server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is UnOrigin compatible with forge?
UnOrigin officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with UnOrigin – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if UnOrigin consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
