Valkyrien Speed Limiter

A simple and lightweight addon for the Valkyrien Skies mod, allowing you to set the max speed of Ships (physics objects)!

I made this mod since fast moving ships can cause performance issues, and chunks cant keep up with the speed of ships. This mod helps alot especially on servers where you have alot of planes or other ships that move fast. (Wow, genuis explanation I know)

Max speed can be changed in instance/config/VSspeedlimiter-common.toml

Note that this is my first mod, so there will be bugs. If you experience any issues please report it in the Discord. https://discord.gg/b8dshmybfH

How to Install Valkyrien Speed Limiter on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Valkyrien Speed Limiter". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
