About this Mod
Vampirism Iron's Spells Compatibility
Vampirism Iron's Spells Addon fuses Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks with Vampirism, giving vampires a bespoke spellcasting experience without touching the parent mods’ code. Everything happens at runtime through reflection, so the addon slides into existing modpacks with zero conflicts.
What’s Inside
Blood-Powered Casting – Key blood spells now drain Vampirism blood with mana when a vampire is well fed. Drop below the threshold and the spell skips the blood cost but doubles its cooldown.
Signature Spell Rework
- Ray of Siphoning keeps dealing damage while restoring blood to vampire casters.
- Devour restores a hefty chunk of blood in return for a bigger mana bill.
Holy School Backlash
- Holy damage reflects onto vampire casters and hits Vampirism vampire mobs twice as hard.
- Holy heals hurt both the vampire caster and target, converting the heal into pure damage.
- Holy utility spells (Angel Wing, Sunbeam, Fortify, Wisp, Haste, Cleanse) simply sting vampires for 5 damage and fizzle.
Config Friendly – Tweak blood-to-mana ratios, thresholds, cooldown multipliers, and holy backlash values to fit your pack. Every knob lives in a simple server-side config.
Drop-In Compatibility – No compile-time dependencies, no bundled classes from the parent mods, and no extra assets. Just add the jar alongside Vampirism and Iron’s Spells and you’re done.

Status
This addon has seen limited testing so far; feedback and contributions are very welcome! At the moment there are no plans to support other Minecraft versions or different mod loaders—the focus is squarely on the current Vampirism × Iron’s Spells combo.
Happy haunting… and spellcasting!
