About this Mod

Vanilla Rice

This mod adds Rice and a handful related items to minecraft. The additions are kept vanilla friendly, with vanilla matching simple crafting recipes.

The mods rice seeds have a 12.5% chance (like wheat seeds) to drop from tall grass in the bamboo jungle, river, mangrove swamp, and regular swamp biomes.

Rice can only be planted in water (waterlogged) directly under the surface; only on dirt and mud blocks.

You can also trade with wandering traders and farmer villagers!

For crafting recipes and a an item overview, please see the images tab :)

Rice crops planted directly under the water surface. Some are not yet really grown at all, some are fully grown and ready to be harvested.
