Variable Hoppers
Change the mechanics of minecraft hoppers.
About this Mod
Variable Hoppers
I originally build this so I could build and test farms in creative for the DonutSMP server, as they have different hopper speed settings. The default config of this mod will be the DonutSMP hopper settings (batch size of 12 items, cooldown of 5 ticks).
Features
- Adjustable Batch Size: Transfer 1 to 64 items per operation
- Adjustable Cooldown: Set delay between transfers (1-100 ticks)
- Server-Friendly: Works on both servers and singleplayer
- Lightweight: No performance impact
Comparison
| Setting | Vanilla | DonutSMP Config |
|---|---|---|
| Batch Size | 1 item | 12 items |
| Cooldown | 8 ticks (0.4s) | 5 ticks (0.25s) |
| Transfer Rate | 2.5 items/sec | 48 items/sec |
