Viral Drill Command

Provides three core tools for base-scale world management. It is especially useful for large underground projects, ocean clearing, and mass terrain preparation, allowing you to quickly remove or mine blocks in a controlled area. This mod is designed to feel natural and vanilla-friendly while drastically reducing the time needed for large builds.

Command list:

/VDC & /drill = Both commands open the same chest-style configuration menu, where you can select drill type, range, and mode. After exiting the menu, the drill immediately affects the world around you.

Drill Types:

Liquid Drill:

• Affects water and lava.
• Vertical range: -3 to +3 blocks from player position.
• Also removes kelp, seagrass, and tall seagrass to prevent water source regeneration.

Surface Drill:

• Affects most naturally generating surface blocks.
• Includes grass, flowers, mushrooms, and similar vegetation.
• Intended for clearing land cleanly.

Underground Drill:

• Affects stone, deepslate, gravel, and netherrack.
• Intended for large-scale excavation and mining.

Supported Ranges:

Range 5 = 11x11 blocks.
Range 10 = 21x21 blocks.
Range 15 = 31x31 blocks.

Height (vertical area):

Liquid Drill: from ~-3 to ~+3
Surface Drill: from ~ to ~+3
Underground Drill: from ~ to ~+3

Modes:

Remove

• Instantly removes blocks
• Replaces blocks with air
• No drops and no tool durability loss

Break

• Breaks blocks as if the player mined them.
• Drops items naturally.
• Tool behavior is respected.
• Shears work with the Surface Drill.
• Silk Touch and Fortune work with the Underground Drill.
• Unbreaking affects durability loss.
