About this Mod
Vision Goggles
Vision Goggles is a high-fidelity tactical equipment mod for Minecraft that introduces a comprehensive suite of modular eyewear designed to redefine environmental interaction. Built with a focus on immersive visuals and
hardware simulation, this mod provides essential utility for combat, exploration, and specialized operations.
Core Mechanics and Customization
The centerpiece of the mod is the Modification Station, a high-tech workbench where players customize their Modular Goggles. Using an intuitive interface, you can install specialized Utility Modules to upgrade your vision
capabilities.
The Power & Durability System
Your equipment is powerful, but not invincible.
- Battery Management: A dedicated HUD element provides real-time monitoring of energy levels. Recharging is done via compatible power items.
- Visual Durability: Goggles absorb damage during combat. As durability drops below 30%, cracks appear on your screen, dynamically tinted to match your active vision mode.
- Critical Failure: At critical damage levels (>85%), the system suffers from digital artifacts and visual glitches.
Advanced Vision Modes
Vision Goggles employs a custom rendering pipeline to provide immersive visual experiences.
- Tactical Night Vision (NVG): A light-amplification system for navigation in total darkness. Includes selectable color themes: Classic Green, White Phosphor, and Digital Cyan.

- Thermal Imaging: A high-contrast blue filter designed for navigating dark and hostile environments.

- Biometric Scanner: A tactical orange-tinted mode optimized for clarity.

- Hydro-Stabilization: A specialized module that removes underwater fog and applies a cyan tint, providing crystal-clear vision under the surface.

Tactical Information HUD
A completely redesigned modular HUD projects vital data directly onto your retina:
- Vital Monitor: Displays exact Saturation levels (Sat: 14.0) and real-time Coordinates (with auto Nether/Overworld conversion).
- Environment Module: A diving computer that calculates real-time oxygen levels, accounting for Respiration enchantments to show exactly how many seconds of air remain.
Design and Inspiration
The 3D modeling and visual design of the goggles in this mod are inspired by the work found in the Survival Instinct mod by Tohigorosu.

It is fully localized in:
