About this Mod
This mod adds hostile ants and flies that come in many variations. This mod was created by asdf TacoMaster and Vruys for our Ohiocraft survival world/modpack. Made using MCreator.
To enjoy the mod to the fullest, we recommend playing with hitboxes turned off!
Overworld Mobs
Spoiler
Ant: Basic ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage.

Fly: Basic fly. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. It can fly.

Nether Mobs

Wastes Fire Ant: Advanced ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Nether Wastes biome.
Crimson Fire Ant: Advanced ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Crimson Forests.
Warped Fire Ant: Advanced ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Warped Forests.
Basalt Fire Ant: Advanced ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Basalt Deltas.
Soul Fire Ant: Advanced ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Soul Sand Valley.
Firefly: Advanced fly. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Nether Wastes biome.
Crimson Firefly: Advanced fly. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Crimson Forests.
Warped Firefly: Advanced fly. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Warped Forests.
Basalt Firefly: Advanced fly. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Basalt Deltas.
Soul Firefly: Advanced fly. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Inflicts blindness, darkness and super speed when attacking the player. Spawns in the Soul Sand Valley.
The fire ants and the fireflies have adapted to their surroundings, making them difficult to spot.

End Mobs

Endermant: Advanced ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Attacks have higher knockback compared to normal ants.
Dragonfly: Advanced fly. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Attacks have higher knockback compared to normal ants.
Mobs that spawn in all dimensions

Nightmare: Extremely speedy ant. Has 100 health, and deals 1 damage. Truly the speedrunner of all time.
Infected Ant: Ranged ant. Has 100 health, and fires a projectile that inflicts slowness, weakness, poison and nausea.
Infected Fly: Ranged fly. Has 100 health, and fires a projectile that inflicts slowness, weakness, poison and nausea.
New Weapon and Drops

Each of the naturally spawning ants drop a different "Shard". (Except for Crimson and Warped ants. They have the same drop). You can craft all 8 shards together to create the "Ant Piece".
Similarly, each of the naturally spawning flies drop a different "Fragment". (Except for Crimson and Warped flies. They have the same drop). You can craft all 8 fragments together to create the "Fly Piece".
If you craft the Ant Piece and the Fly Piece together with a stick, you can create the ultimate weapon: fly swatter. This weapon comes with Bane of Arthropods 20 when crafted, making it an effective weapon against the new threats.

Boss Fight

The infested garbage bin is a new structure. A mysterious button is located in the middle, which summons the new boss when you interact with it.

Ant Tank Boss: Has 600 health. Unlike the other mobs in this mod, it is not affected by Bane of Arthropods, because the tank is not an insect. It comes with four attacks.

If you successfully defeat the Ant Tank Boss, you'll be rewarded with a trophy and your very own Rideable Tank!!!

How to Install Vruys Sussy Hard Insects on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Vruys Sussy Hard Insects". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
