About this Mod
- Added weight attributes to Minecraft; items, blocks, decorations, and more now have weight, and the player's maximum carrying capacity is 100.
- When the weight percentage is less than 50%, there is no impact. When the weight percentage is greater than 50%, the movement speed becomes 0.8 times faster. When the weight percentage is greater than 80%, the movement speed becomes 0.5 times faster. When the weight percentage is greater than 100%, the movement speed becomes 0.2 times faster.
- Three types of chest armor enchantments have been added. Weight lifting can increase the player's maximum load capacity, powerless will decrease the player's maximum load capacity, and overwhelming strength will force the weight of items on the player to be 0.
- Equipped with a sophisticated backpack mod, different levels of backpacks provide varying proportions of weight reduction for the items inside.

Weight System server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Weight System compatible with forge?
Weight System officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Weight System consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
