About this Mod
What I'm Pressing
This mod allows you to display the button you are currently clicking on the screen.
You also can customize it by the editor, and the editor can be accessed by clicking the shortcut key (default is "]").
By default, the mod displays the WASD four keys in the upper left corner of the screen.
You can open the editor to customize them, all your changes are saved automatically.
Editor Operations
You can use the left mouse button to select a key listener in the editor, and long press the left mouse button to drag it.
There are also many operations allowed in the editor, which you can perform with the following key combinations:
- [A]: Add a new key listener at the cursor
- [X]: Deletes the selected key listener
- [Ctrl + C]: Copies the selected key listener
- [Ctrl + V]: Paste the copied key listener at the cursor, or paste the copied style onto the selected key listener
- [Ctrl + R]: Resets the style of the selected key listener
- [up/down/left/right]: Move selected key listener
Inspector also supports copy-paste operations, after you selected a entries (left clicked or right clicked), you can use [Ctrl + C] to copy it and [Ctrl + V] to paste it.

How to Install WhatI'mPressing on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "WhatI'mPressing". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

WhatI'mPressing server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is WhatI'mPressing compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
WhatI'mPressing officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with WhatI'mPressing – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if WhatI'mPressing consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
