About this Mod
XenovaProtect is a lightweight server-side protection mod designed for Minecraft Fabric Loader 1.20.1. It allows server administrators and staff to easily protect specific areas of the world using a golden axe. By selecting two points with left-click and right-click, you can define protected zones quickly and efficiently.
The mod includes a simple and practical command system:
/XenoProtect define– Assign a name to the selected protected area./XenoProtect redefine– Change the name of an existing protected area./XenoProtect tp– Teleport to the selected protected area./XenoProtect delate– Delete the selected protected area.
XenovaProtect is fully server-side, meaning players do not need to install the mod on their client. As long as the mod is installed on the server, it will function correctly.
If your server uses a permissions system such as LuckPerms or any other permissions API, you will need to configure the appropriate permissions to allow players or staff to use the mod’s features. This is only required when using a permissions management mod.

Server lagging with XenovaProtect – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if XenovaProtect consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
