Want to label your factory sections, mark pipelines, or put up a proper welcome sign? RSS adds a fully featured sign system to Satisfactory: build signs anywhere, design them however you like, and keep them in sync across your whole factory.
---
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td style="background:#e8a202;padding:6px 14px;border-radius:6px 6px 0 0;border:none"><strong style="color:#1a1a2e;font-size:18px">Lots of Signs to Place</strong></td></tr></table>
RSS adds a large variety of sign types that attach to almost any surface in the game. All signs are unlocked through the Awesome Shop.
| Type | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Standard signs | Poles, walls, floors, ceilings (many aspect ratios) |
| Hologram signs | Same placement options, with glowing scanline effects |
| Drone signs | Freestanding floating aesthetic |
| Pipe signs | Snap directly onto your pipelines |
| Belt signs | Snap directly onto conveyor belts |
| Walkway signs | Floor-level labelling on walkways |
| Foundation signs | Large format signs for factory sections |
| Vanilla sign upgrade | All base-game signs now use the RSS editor |
17 standard canvas sizes are available, from tiny `0.5×0.5` labels up to massive `25×2` billboards, plus a fully custom size option.
---
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td style="background:#e8a202;padding:6px 14px;border-radius:6px 6px 0 0;border:none"><strong style="color:#1a1a2e;font-size:18px">Powerful In-Game Editor</strong></td></tr></table>
Every sign has an in-game editor where you can stack as many layers as you want. Each layer is a text block, an image, or an animation effect: mix and match freely.
- Text layers: choose font, size, colour, alignment, bold, uppercase, letter spacing, and more
- Image layers: use any in-game asset or paste a URL to load an image from the internet directly onto the sign; adjust size, tint, opacity, rotation, and z-order
- Effect layers: add scrolling or panning animations to any image layer
- Global settings: control background colour, emissive glow intensity, and rotation animation for the whole sign
- Hologram extras: distortion strength, scanline intensity, border glow, and scanline on/off toggle
---
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td style="background:#e8a202;padding:6px 14px;border-radius:6px 6px 0 0;border:none"><strong style="color:#1a1a2e;font-size:18px">Load Images from the Internet</strong></td></tr></table>
Paste any public image URL into an image layer and RSS will download it and display it on your sign automatically: no mods, no files, no restarts needed. Downloaded images are cached so they load instantly the next time you use the same URL.
---
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td style="background:#e8a202;padding:6px 14px;border-radius:6px 6px 0 0;border:none"><strong style="color:#1a1a2e;font-size:18px">Templates</strong></td></tr></table>
Spent time on a great sign design? Save it as a template and reuse it on any compatible sign in any session.
- Templates show only options that fit the current sign type and size: no mismatches
- Templates are saved as plain text files, so you can back them up or share them with friends by copy-pasting a single string
- All players in a multiplayer session share the same template library automatically
---
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td style="background:#e8a202;padding:6px 14px;border-radius:6px 6px 0 0;border:none"><strong style="color:#1a1a2e;font-size:18px">Sign Gun</strong></td></tr></table>
The Sign Gun is a handheld tool that lets you copy a sign's full design and paste it onto other signs without opening each one individually: great for labelling long stretches of belts or pipes.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Left click | Copy the design from the sign you're pointing at |
| Right click (hold) | Paste the copied design onto every sign you aim at |
| Middle mouse | Open the full editor for the targeted sign |
- Works across a long range so you don't have to walk up to every sign
- Highlights signs green when they can accept a paste, red when the type or size doesn't match
- Works with the vanilla Factory Clipboard too
