About this Mod
A client-side utility mod that lets you easily add large, multi-line characters and symbols to your signs! Each of the mod's characters/symbols are made up of regular Unicode characters from the vanilla Minecraft font, allowing this mod to work on most servers and be seen by most players, even without the mod!
Certain resource packs may cause issues.
Big Sign Writer adds plenty of fonts and hundreds of symbols ready for use, easily accessible from vanilla Minecraft's sign edit screen.
The mod is highly configurable, with an in-game config screen accessible by default through the sign edit screen, or Mod Menu on Fabric and NeoForge's mod list.

How to Install Big Sign Writer on Your Client
Install the Mod Loader Locally
Install fabric for your local Minecraft version.
Download the Matching File
Choose the Big Sign Writer file for fabric and Minecraft 26.3.
Install Mod
Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

Does Big Sign Writer need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Big Sign Writer as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Big Sign Writer require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.3, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Big Sign Writer is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
