Discontinuous Beacon Beams
Stops beacon beams from rendering though clear glass in their paths. Configurable.
About this Mod
Stops a beacon beam from rendering through clear glass in its path. Configurable.
Works client-side and in single player.
Beacon beams won't render above clear glass or glass panes in their path.
They'll begin rendering again when they encounter another transparent colored block in their path.
All changes are purely visual, this mod doesn't allow beacon beams to go through blocks they usually couldn't go
through (full, non-transparent blocks).
Configuration
Supports MidnightLib and
Mod Menu for configuration, but neither is required.
Versions before 1.8.0 support Cloth Config instead of
MidnightLib.
Options will use their default values if MidnightLib is absent.
If MidnightLib is present, options can be configured either through
Mod Menu or by editing config/discontinuous_beacon_beams.json in your
instance folder (.minecraft/ by default for the vanilla launcher).

so anyone else is free to port it.

Does Discontinuous Beacon Beams need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Discontinuous Beacon Beams as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Discontinuous Beacon Beams require?
Use a file for fabric, quilt and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Discontinuous Beacon Beams is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
