About this Mod

FastServerPings

A client-side mod that rewrites the Minecraft server ping pipeline, designed to scale properly with large server lists and make refreshes feel smoother.

Server pings are scheduled across the entire list rather than strictly top to bottom, with results handled using SWR (stale-while-revalidate).

Incompatibilities

Currently, explicit compatibility is kept with ViaFabricPlus.

How to Install Fast Server Pings on Your Client

Install the Mod Loader Locally

Install fabric for your local Minecraft version.

Download the Matching File

Choose the Fast Server Pings file for fabric and Minecraft 26.3-snapshot-6.

Install Mod

Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

No. Modrinth marks Fast Server Pings as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.

Which version and loader does Fast Server Pings require?

Use a file for fabric and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.3-snapshot-6, 26.3-snapshot-5, 26.3-snapshot-4. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.

Fast Server Pings is not working – what should I check?
