Firorize

Firorize

This client side mod allows full color customization over fire, depending on the biome it's in, or even the block it's on! There is also a fire height slider to shrink that large overlay. Also, it fixes the bug where soul fire did not have a blue overlay!

What's this mod?

Are you bored of that same old orange fire? In need of more atmospheric nether biomes? Wishing for some
colorful variety next time you decide to burn your friend's house down?

Firorize lets you recolour fire however you like – per biome, per block it sits on, and per
block tag – with a priority system to settle any clashes. Group your colours into named profiles,
and now share them with the whole community or send them straight to a friend, right inside the game.

It's fully client-side, so it works on any server without installing anything server-side.

The Firorize colour editor: a colour wheel and lightness slider on the left, an active profile list, a per-block search list, and a recoloured golden fire burning in-world

Fire height

Adjust the first-person fire height

Shrink the first-person fire overlay so it's less obtrusive when you're on fire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Firorize need to be installed on the Minecraft server?

No. Modrinth marks Firorize as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.

Which version and loader does Firorize require?

Use a file for fabric and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.21.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.

Firorize is not working – what should I check?

First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
