FrameVoid
Borderless fullscreen for Minecraft 26.1. No borders, no GPU switches, instant alt-tab.
About this Mod
FrameVoid
True borderless fullscreen for Minecraft 26.1.
No GPU switches. No black flashes. Instant alt-tab without minimizing.
What it does
Minecraft's built-in fullscreen uses exclusive fullscreen mode, which forces a GPU context switch every time you alt-tab. FrameVoid replaces it with a borderless windowed mode that covers your entire screen, so switching to other apps is instant and the game never minimizes.
Features
- Automatic borderless fullscreen when entering fullscreen mode
- Window stays visible when alt-tabbing. No minimize, no black flash
- Other windows can be brought to the foreground normally
- Action bar notification when borderless mode activates or deactivates
- Lightweight, no config screen needed, just press F11
Requirements
- Latest Fabric Loader
- Minecraft Java Edition Fabric 26.1+

Does FrameVoid need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks FrameVoid as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does FrameVoid require?
Use a file for fabric and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
FrameVoid is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
