About this Mod

Inspired by the cryptid legend, GoatMan adds a monster that reacts dynamically into your world, stalking silently until it's seen, then chasing, fighting, or fleeing depending on how the encounter unfolds.
(UPDATE 3.0) FEATURES:
Spoiler
BEHAVIOR
- Stroll: wanders around, eats crops, attacks mobs, mimics nearby mob sounds
- Creep: slowly creeps toward the player that either triggers flees, chase, or vanish
- Stare: stalks when player looks directly at it, may break into chase or flee depending on the interaction
- Chase: begins chasing when player either looks at it, get too close, or in stalk state for a period of time
- Flee: runs away when low on health, set on fire over time, hurt by other mobs, nearby mobs it usually avoids or damaged by player
- Vanish: forces itself to instantly disappear and can inflict darkness effect on player depending on the interaction
- Anger: everytime the GoatMan is harmed or stunned increases the risk of being killed that resets a few seconds
- Abduction: instead of always killing you, grabs you instead. Steals your items and stashes it near the last location you were abducted, places you somewhere else with half-heart that leaves debuffs depending on the level of abduction. Becomes more punishing the more you are abducted with the chance of just killing you on the third abduction. Each level of abduction decays after a few days without interacting with GoatMan
