About this Mod

JsMacros Community Edition (JsMacrosCE)

Modrinth GitHub~~~~ Discord

JsMacrosCE lets you write and run client-side scripts to automate tasks and build custom tools in Minecraft.
You can trigger macros, react to events, and build your own workflow in-game. You can also interact directly with the Java runtime, so your scripts can integrate tightly with the client environment when you need more power than simple commands.

Language support and extensions

JsMacrosCE supports multiple scripting languages and can be expanded through extensions:

  • JavaScript (native)
  • Groovy (native)
  • Python (via extension)
  • Soon: Lua, Ruby, and more

Frequently Asked Questions

Does JsMacros Community Edition need to be installed on the Minecraft server?

No. Modrinth marks JsMacros Community Edition as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.

Which version and loader does JsMacros Community Edition require?

Use a file for fabric, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.8. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.

JsMacros Community Edition is not working – what should I check?

First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
