About this Mod
Nametag Render Fix
Fixes issues when rendering nameplates (entity nametags) while they are infront of semi-translucent blocks such as (stained) glass, ice, honey, water and other entities by deferring their rendering until after the world has finished drawing.
Fully compatible with mods that change nametag rendering, should not affect performance.
If this causes weirdness with shaders, disable entity shadows.

Does Nametag Render Fix need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Nametag Render Fix as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Nametag Render Fix require?
Use a file for fabric, neoforge, quilt and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.1-snapshot-4, 26.1-snapshot-3, 26.1-snapshot-2. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Nametag Render Fix is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
