PartiCull
Dynamic particle control for smoother gameplay: up to +30% FPS gain in heavy particle situations.
About this Mod
Keep your FPS high in particle chaos.
✨✨✨
The mod constantly watches your game's performance. When it detects a dip in your framerate, it intelligently removes particles to keep things smooth, then instantly brings them back when performance is stable.
PartiCull is a set-it-and-forget-it solution, especially in chaotic situations like rain, potion fights, or other particle-heavy scenarios. If you like to improve your experience, you can use the in-game config to set your preferred FPS target. Best of all, it's a client-side mod, which means you can use it in your single-player worlds or on any server you join, no questions asked.
How to open the settings:
- Just follow this path: Esc → Mods → Select PartiCull → Config.
- You'll see three simple options inside.
- Quick tip: it's best to leave the Target FPS setting alone, as it automatically syncs with your monitor.

Does PartiCull need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks PartiCull as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does PartiCull require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.6. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
PartiCull is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
