About this Mod
Simple Splash Screen is a mod that allows you to completely customize the Minecraft Loading screen. It allows you to add your own colors, images, logo and even your own custom progress bar. This mod is basically a Forge port of the original Custom Splash Screen mod by Motschen.
Please note, on forge this mod will only take effect once the forge pre-loading screen is done. This screen of forge is hidden behind non-accessible code, so as such, no modifications can be made to it without causing a crash risk.

You are allowed to include this mod in your modpack, BUT, all downloads have to go through this Curseforge page. You are not allowed to re-upload the mod to any other sites.
You are free to clone the code and distribute the mod as your own, but I ask that you please change the name and do not use any of my official docs/resources.

How to Install Simple Splash Screen on Your Client
Install the Mod Loader Locally
Install forge for your local Minecraft version.
Download the Matching File
Choose the Simple Splash Screen file for forge and Minecraft 1.21.1.
Install Mod
Place the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and restart Minecraft. No server-side installation is required.

Does Simple Splash Screen need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Simple Splash Screen as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Simple Splash Screen require?
Use a file for forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.4. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Simple Splash Screen is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
