A lightweight mod that collects all dropped items and unnecessary entities for optimization.
About this Mod
Abstract
This is an optimization mod. The sweeper cleans all dropped items at regular intervals and collects them in a "dustbin". No only dropped items but also other entities (default arrows and spectral arrows) can be swept to improve the performance of server.
Client side is not required. This mod can work at server side only like a plugin.
Dustbin
All collected dropped items will show up in the 54-slot dustbin temporarily. Use command /sweepermaid dustbin to open the dustbin. You can also set the permission level of it in configuration.
Configuration
The sweeper's cool down, other types of entities to be swept, and even messages that will be sent to client players can be configurated. The config file is located in config/sweeper_maid-common.toml.

How to Install Sweeper Maid on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.6).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Sweeper Maid". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Sweeper Maid server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Sweeper Maid consumes the most tick time.
