Thunderbolt Core
The required core library for AE2 Lightning Tech, providing AE2LT with autocrafting optimizations, overloaded channels, and low-level infrastructure.
About this Mod
Thunderbolt Core
Thunderbolt Core is a required core dependency developed primarily for AE2 Lightning Tech (AE2LT). It provides AE2LT with autocrafting optimizations, overloaded-channel support, matrix-crafting infrastructure, and other low-level features.
If you are installing AE2 Lightning Tech, you must also install Thunderbolt Core.
Thunderbolt Core can also be installed independently alongside Applied Energistics 2 to improve AE2 autocrafting planning and task dispatch. However, standalone use is secondary—the main purpose of this mod is to provide the core functionality required by AE2 Lightning Tech.
Features
- Required core infrastructure for AE2 Lightning Tech
- Overloaded-channel infrastructure for AE2LT
- Matrix-crafting infrastructure for AE2LT
- Faster AE2 autocrafting planning
- Efficient batch dispatch for crafting tasks
- Crafting extension APIs for compatible addons
- Optional compatibility hooks for Advanced AE, NeoECO, AE2 Crafting Tree, and ExtendedAE Plus
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.x
- Applied Energistics 2 19.2.17–19.2.x
Thunderbolt Core and AE2 must be installed on both the client and the server.
Thunderbolt Core is required when using AE2 Lightning Tech. It may also be installed without AE2LT, but only its standalone AE2 optimization and infrastructure features will be available.
