What is Sentry?

Sentry is the ultimate next-generation security mod and plugin for your Minecraft server — giving you real peace of mind so you can focus on building an community instead of fighting off threats. It intelligently blocks hacked clients and malicious mods, stops exploits, prevents bots and VPN abuse, detects cheaters, and logs everything important.

All of this runs smoothly with minimal resource usage, whether you're running a small survival world or a busy public network.

Modules

Fog of War

This module's name comes from the same anticheat method, the "Fog of War". This module allows the possibility of completely blocking and hiding other players from getting information/packets when they are hidden behind a wall or out of sight.

This completely blocks any way of players, even using cheats like Wallhacks/PlayerESP/X-Ray to see and track other players behind blocks.

Anti-BOT

Sentry also offers a brand new module, the Anti-Bot!
It does as the name says, detects unusual amounts of connections on your server and blocks everything, keeping admins up-to-date on what is happening each second.
This module is 100% configurable. As the same as the other modules, you can change the full configuration to better fit your server!
Not convinced? Here is a real case scenario, with Sentry blocking more than 5000 bots under a minute:

Item Control

With Sentry, you can control and block dangerous items, like items containing unsafe Enchantment levels (above Vanilla), items with modified attributes and potions containing non-vanilla effects.

Anti-VPN

Sentry provides a free* Anti-VPN protection service for your server, block any players trying to evade server bans.

Command Blocker

With the Command Blocker module, you can block any dangerous command from players, like /plugins, /about and more! You can add your own commands with your own Sentry actions.

Tab Complete Blocker

With this module, you can block any commands that are shown to players when they try to view your server commands, you can control every command using a custom group system.

Force-OP Protection

Sentry blocks any unauthorized players from obtaining OP. This module is extra useful for Creative mode servers, where players might exploit game features like signs to gain OP. When using this module, players must be explicitly added to a whitelist inside the plugin to be OP.

IP Whitelist

With this module, you can whitelist or blacklist any players from joining the server based on IPs instead of usernames, providing extra security for your server.

Security Patches

Sentry also provides a lot of security patches and miscellaneous protections to your server, adding extra layers of protection on everything.

Lockdown Protection

Sentry also provides a new feature for your server called Lockdown, with just one single command you can entirely prevent players from joining in the server temporarily.

Sentry Prime

Standard Sentry already offers a wide range of powerful features, but with Sentry Prime you unlock the full experience. Version compatibility

Plugin

Sentry is compatible with Folia, Spigot, Paper (and any other forks) servers running versions from 1.8 to 26.2.

Mod

Sentry is compatible with FabricMC servers, running 1.21.11.
Requires Fabric API and at least Fabric Loader 0.18.3.
