Status
The status mod used on the Hermitcraft server.
About this Mod
A Fabric mod that enables you to set a status.
This mod must be installed on the server. Vanilla clients are still able to join a server with this mod. If you want to
set a status, you need this mod installed on your client.
It requires Fabric API
Features
By pressing the U key, you will be able to set your status.
The status consists of multiple parts:
- The availability
- If you don't want to get disturbed
- If you are open for collaboration
- The base status
- If you are recording
- If you are streaming
- Additional stuff
- If you don't want others to skip the night

These icons will show up next to the players head in the tab list.

If no sleep is activated, players lying in bed will see a message that someone doesn't want the night to be skipped.
This message will also be shown to players that don't have the mod installed.

When joining a server the first time in your playing session, you will get a message that will remind you to
set your status. The status is not persisted between playing sessions by default.

Status server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Status compatible with fabric and quilt?
Status officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Status – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Status consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
