Equipment Automation

This mod allows you to machine-craft all consumable equipment items, because no item mall is complete without an inhaler stockpile. If you want to automate equipment like rifles, hazmat suits or jetpacks, I recommend using my extended Equipment Automation Plus which lets you machine-craft all of the equipment items, not just the consumable ones.

Supported Items

Portable Miner

Factory Cart

Medicinal Inhaler (all 3 recipes)

Parachute

How It Works

This mod only modifies vanilla recipes, which means a few things:

You don't have to unlock anything extra, simply unlocking the recipes like you normally would just gives you the machine-useable recipes as well

Machines already set to produce these items will continue to work normally if the mod is uninstalled

If CSS changes recipe costs or crafting times, the mod won't need to be updated

Compatibility

Fully compatible with multiplayer.
This mod is a dependency of the extended Equipment Automation Plus mod.
This mod may be incompatible with other mods which try to modify the vanilla equipment recipes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Equipment Automation not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Equipment Automation has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Equipment Automation causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Equipment Automation v2.5.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Equipment Automation compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Equipment Automation uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
